I’ve had some exciting opportunities presented to me since starting at apetito. One of my highlights was the opportunity I had to go and visit our pea supplier. It was great to see first-hand where some of our produce comes from and helped bring to life how we talk about the provenance of our ingredients within marketing communications. I also had the opportunity to be involved in the production of new video content. I loved being able to experience how apetito makes a real difference in so many ways.
There are ongoing development opportunities at apetito; it’s something that’s really supported here. I’ve been on training courses to build on areas such as sales analysis and design skills. I’ve also recently had the opportunity to study a Chartered Institute of Marketing course. Any area I’ve identified as something I could build upon I have been supported in finding a training opportunity to do so.
As well as these opportunities to grow, the culture at apetito is something else that sets us apart; it’s the people here who make it such a great place to work. From day one of joining everyone has been open and welcoming, and it really feels as though everyone is passionate about making a real difference through their work.
I personally feel that I’ve been able to make a real difference by providing real added value to our customers. We work in partnership with each customer, meaning that it’s so much more than delivering food to their door. I’ve worked on projects that have helped make our customers lives easier, create bespoke materials to support customers, and have worked on projects and activities to enhance the health and well-being of the people eating our meals.
