"I started the Graduate Scheme at apetito in July 2018. The main thing that attracted me to apetito was the values that they hold; it’s great to be part of a company that strives to make a real difference.
I started the Graduate Scheme at apetito in July 2018 as a product developer in the Specialist Nutrition team within New Product Development at apetito. My role has great variation which means it never gets boring."

Making a real difference in Product Development

I carry out research and recipe development to create delicious meals for those who are on a specialist diet. For example, I have assisted with ensuring all meals are compliant with the new IDDSI standards and am currently developing an exciting new range which I hope will make a real difference to our customers lives.
I’ve really enjoyed the responsibilities I have been given so far and look forward to seeing how I progress in the future!

Product Development at apetito

Our Product Development team are responsible for identifying and delivering new product innovations and  driving continuous food improvement. Our team of chefs, technologists and nutrition experts work collaboratively to develop new products that create competitive advantage, support long-term sustainable growth and make a real difference for our customers. Working very closely with many teams across the business, they manage the development of new food products from concept through to launch, the identification and implementation of nutrition and food quality improvements, and also support manufacturing and purchasing initiatives.
