EEF Future Manufacturing Awards

apetito have been recognised for Environmental Achievement in the Engineering Employers Federation Future Manufacturing Awards for the South West region.

The EEF Future Manufacturing Awards showcase the best of British innovation and excellence.

apetito was awarded a runner up award in the Environmental Achievement category in recognition of our progress on climate change and reduction of waste away from landfill.

We now send all our factory food waste for disposal by anaerobic digestion.  This process produces a compost like material as an end product as well as generating green electricity for the grid.  Anaerobic digestion saves a great deal of greenhouse gas emissions, reducing our carbon footprint.
