From the auditing of raw materials, to the cooking and weighing of individual components, a constant checking and double-checking process removes the risk of error, whilst every stage of production and all ingredients are coded to be traceable.

Produced in our state-of-the-art STS and EFSIS higher accredited factory, ingredients are on the production line for less than three minutes before they are frozen, and therefore captured at the freshest possible point.

Compare that to chilled food, where a shorter shelf life can mean that the food supplied may have already been consumed before all micro tests have been thoroughly carried out.

At the heart of our foodsafe+system is apetlto's laboratory which is accredited through the Campden Laboratory Accreditation Scheme (cLAS). The high-tech laboratory is responsible for no less than eight key microbiological tests on every meal. Only at the point that a laboratory member of staff nominates a meal batch safe for release can products held in quarantine be sent to the customer.
