apetito's positive release system is the most comprehensive in the market place and ensures that our products are only despatched once all microbiological testing is successfully completed.
From auditing raw materials, to cooking and weighing individual components, a constant checking and double-checking process removes the risk of error. Every stage of the production process and all of our ingredients are coded and traceable.
Produced in our state-of-the-art STS and EFSIS higher accredited factory, ingredients are on the production line for less than three minutes before they are frozen, and therefore captured at the freshest possible point.
All meals are automatically held in quarantine at the end of the manufacturing process. A sample from each batch is then sent to our Campden Accredited Laboratory where no less than eight key microbiological tests are carried out over a three day period.
Only at this point are meals delivered, offering total piece of mind to our customers, who can feel assured that our meals are not only tasty and nutritious, but are also completely safe to eat.
