Team apetito is a multifaceted group made up by a dedicated team of staff across a number of departments to ensure the ever reliable and smooth running of our company.

ACCOUNTS

The Accounts department is integral to the smooth running of the business – not only do they get the wages paid of course but they offer support to our customers across Healthcare and Community meals and our franchisees at Wiltshire Farm Foods.

DEVELOPMENT

The Development team are the gourmet guardians of the expansive range at apetito. From concocting delicious new dishes to perfecting the old favourites, they ensure our recipes are the tastiest and healthiest they can be, according to our strict specifications and guidelines.

HUMAN RESOURCES

The Human Resources department provide support and advice for every employee at apetito, as well as dealing with sickness and absence management, monitoring of employee performance and coaching management on getting the most out of their staff and preserving a positive working environment for everyone at Team apetito. HR also ensure we recruit top quality individuals that will thrive within their role and take apetito forward, maintaining our competitive advantage.

HYGIENE

Our team of hygienists ensure that not only are our high standards maintained throughout but also that our customers can rest assured they are receiving the highest quality, sanitary meals from our higher EFSIS approved factory.

IT

The IT team at apetito take care of all computerised systems at apetito, from our main company software, SAP, to our telephone systems, desktops, and file servers. They also take care of the IT requirements of our franchise network, as well as supporting our customers.

MARKETING

The Marketing department is the driving force behind the creative elements of apetito, as well as supporting various departments and raising the profile of apetito as a whole and exploring new means and mediums to promote the company further.

PRODUCTION

Our Production departments are at the heart of apetito and their hard work and diligence means our customers always come back for seconds.

MEALS

The Meals Department produces in excess of 600,000 meals per week, maintaining strict standards of hygiene to ensure only the highest quality food gets released to our customers.

PIES 

Our pie site in Trowbridge produces 705,000 Bakes, Turnovers, Pies,Traditional Pasties and our top-selling Sausage Rolls each week.

SWEETS

The sweets department produces a staggering one million desserts per week

SERVICES

Our services department liase with local authorities to provide a hot Meals on Wheels service around the country, providing a personalised and reliable package able to run alongside existing services in a successful partnership to get the most out of your operation.

TECHNICAL

Technical works alongside Quality Assurance in the Production department and Development from the very moment a new meal is conceived to the point at which it is delivered, ensuring a series of rigorous safety checks are implemented through our unique “foodsafe+” system.

Our CLAS accredited laboratory is responsible for no less than 8 key tests on all meals. Only once a meal has passed these tests can a laboratory member of staff nominate a meal batch to be released for safe release and sale to the customer.
