Our Service
apetito offer a flexible mix of food, systems and services to suit every customer’s needs. Our team of catering consultants, training managers and customer service advisors provide a complete service package, taking care of everything from setting up your service to ordering and delivery.
Setting up your new service
From the moment you appoint apetito, we will prepare a mobilisation plan for setting up your service and supporting your team.
Your individual mobilisation plan will provide a full support package including;
• a dedicated training and operations manager
• best practice implementation
• staff training
• regeneration trials
• ongoing reviews and audits
• menu planning and advice
Easy ordering
Our customer service centre has the resources and expertise to take care of all your orders and enquiries. To place orders you can call, email or fax the team. You can also use our electronic ordering service, e:Order, with a template of your menu cycle for quick and easy processing. Ordering with us is extremely flexible; you can order any product from our range to include on your menu on any day of the week.
Delivery
Our delivery drivers are an integral part of our distribution team, maintaining control of food safety and quality to your door. We have invested in environmentally friendly Euro 5 vehicles to ensure our service is efficient and to minimise our carbon emissions.
All our multi-portion and twin-portion meals are delivered packed in apetito plastic crates, eliminating the need for cardboard boxes. This reduces the amount of cardboard we use and also saves you the time and effort of de-boxing and recycling cardboard packaging.
Continuous improvements
We are committed to continuously improving our services and menus to match your needs. We regularly review and improve our product range and embrace government initiatives including;
• The Health of the Nation Guidelines
• The All-Wales Catering Nutrition Group
• Food in Hospitals Nutritional Specification for Scotland
• Delivering Nutritional Care through Food & Beverage Services, published by the BDA.
